Tarot

I love tarot, it was such a surprise to me. I learned it as a adjunct to learning about archetypes, there are indeed many similarities between certain tarot cards and archetypal patterns of behaviour.

Using the Rider Waite deck my readings are down to earth and at times very earthy!! I am not a proponent of fortune telling, the cards and the images on them tell the story and can highlight where you are at in your life in the most amazing way.

I find that people who are a little afraid or anxious of seeing a Coach or Counsellor will have a tarot reading and if that means you – that is absolutely OK by me. Not all of us are ready to get the pickaxe out and dig out the dark corners of our lives and I respect that. Everything in its own time.

Tarot can be traced back to medieval times, even further according to some, to the Egyptian Mamelukes. They became exceptionally popular in the French and Elizabethan courts and enjoyed another revival in and around 1910 with the creation of the Rider Waite deck based on the artwork of Pamela Colman-Smith and the teaching of academic and mystic, A E Waite, it was published by the Rider Company and the name Rider Waite stuck.

Readings can be arranged by emailing me for appointments in person (Perth only) and can be done over the phone or on Skype.
